Sunday Walks

Last weekend, after being cooped up inside for a few days during the Christmas holiday, I has a yearning to get outside for some fresh air. The weather had been bad, with lashing rain and cold winds, keeping us indoors for most of the break. We took advantage of momentary clear skies, jumped in the car and drove up to Howth for an afternoon walk. Once there the weather turned slightly sour with mist all around us. As long as it wasn't pouring, I didn't mind. We found a path that lead us onto a footgolf course with views of Howth Castle, which remains to this day a private castle. It was nice to get out and explore a different part of Dublin, even if the weather wasn't perfect.
